The plenary started on Tuesday with a Welcome speech from Hexa-X Technical Manager Hamed Farhadi (Ericsson) and continued with the inspiring Keynote speech from Ericsson CTO Erik Ekudden.

Hexa-X lead Mikko Uusitalo from Nokia Bell Labs delivered the Hexa-X overview and before mentioned Hamed Farhadi provided the Technical overview. After the overviews, the program continued with Work Package status updates from the WP leads.

Wednesday was fully reserved for Work package meetings, where participants were able to dive deeper into their assigned tasks, such as the final deliverables, workshops, demos an and the upcoming book. On Thursday, the plenary continued with Work Package updates, followed by discussion, open points, questions. Finally, the event concluded in the project level next steps.

With this final plenary the project is progressing nicely towards our objectives in laying the foundations of 6G. We are advanging hand in hand with the second phase of the European 6G flagship initiative, the Hexa-X-II, towards our common goal – establishing Europe as leader in 6G.
