After a long hiatus, the Hexa-X project could finally be represented with in-person attendance at a major conference, by hosting a workshop, an exhibition booth and a special session on the WiTaR initiative at the EuCNC & 6G Summit conference in Grenoble France on June 7-10, 2022.
The workshop “The 6G workshop series by Hexa-X” presented results from the Hexa-X project on 6G vision, Radio performance, Connecting intelligence, and Network evolution and expansion with invited industrial presentations from Nokia and Ericsson as well as invited presentations from other 5G PPP projects such as REINDEER, TeraFlow, 6G BRAINS, and 5G-Clarity.

The Hexa-X exhibition booth presented a live demo of interactive cobots courtesy of Hexa-X partner WINGS ICT Solutions as well as showcasing the project’s new overview video as well as posters and flyers.
Apart from many interested conference attendants visiting the booth, a dedicated presentation was provided to the Conference Chair and Director Future Networks at the European Commission Pearse O’Donohue and the Programme Officer of the European Commission Mario Scillia.
The special session on the Women in Telecommunication and Research (WiTaR) presented the initiatives and recent activities, highlighting the importance of gender equality in the research community.
